Petra is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, carved out of the rocky formations in Jordan's southern desert by the Nabateans over 2000 years ago.
Wadi Rum, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a naturally beautiful desert home to several bedouin tribes.
Day 1: Arrival to Petra
Pick up from location in Jordan or Pick up from Jerusalem/Palestine - Via Allenby Border (if option selected)

Arrival at Allenby on Jordanian Side, meet Jordanian representative
Drive along the Kings Highway to Wadi Rum (3-4 hour drive) - with stops at the old train station and a rest stop.
Explore Wadi Rum - Jordan’s largest desert and one of the most spectacular desert landscapes in the world.
Board 4×4’s and explore the desert by jeep for a 4 hour safari, and have lunch prepared by a local Bedouin in the desert.
Enjoy the sunset and highlights of Wadi Rum Desert.

Day 2 - Petra - Departure
After Breakfast, early departure to Petra
Classical 3-hour guided tour, the traditional way through the Siq (Canyon) to the Treasury.
The trail begins at the Visitors Center and leads into the ancient city of Petra via the Siq and some spectacular monuments. This includes the street of facades as well as a theater carved out of the rock, followed by an exploration of the deeply carved 'royal tombs', then arriving at the High Place of Sacrifice to take in the breathtaking view.
Free time to continue to explore briefly on your own after the guided tour and enjoy a lunch buffet in a local restaurant.
At the end of the tour either drop off at your next destination in Jordan or to Israel/Palestine via Allenby Border
